New Songbooks
Many thanks to the Meadowbrook congregation in Jackson, MS for the gift of new (to us!) songbooks.
Sunday Evening Children's Class
A children's class is now available on Sunday evenings. Please join us at 6 pm
for a
Bible lesson, arts & crafts and games.
Boys and Girls Club Tutoring
Please see Kathy Gates if you would like to tutor at the Boys and Girls
Club this fall. You will need to complete a Volunteer form, and
then a background check will be performed on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club.
Tutoring
will begin in October and will take place one day
per week from 4:30-5:30 pm.
World Bible School
Please see Barbara McManus if you would like to participate in preparing
and responding to World Bible School lessons.
Domestic Violence Project ~
Item of the Month
This month we are collecting toys. Please place any
contributions in the appropriately labeled box.
Permanent Meeting Place
Lafayette-Oxford-University (LOU) Church of Christ announces its permanent meeting place in the Edgar, Suite 104 at 428 North Lamar (between the Downtown Inn and the Baker Building).
Business Meeting
Don't forget the next congregational business meeting at 4:30 pm on December 7th.
